I knew that my hunt would change in 30 seconds when we located a fresh Tom lion track on day 5 at 8am. Hounds were turned out and quickly the chase was on! I was impressed with the ability of the hounds to work a track that was hours old and rain had fallen on. Four and half hours of trekking through the beautiful Idaho mountains lead me to the tree where the hounds treed the beautiful 135# Tom Mountain Lion I dreamed of.
