Selway Ridgerunner Outfitters offers 2 Elk Hunts and both are any weapon hunts.
The first hunt is September 15-30th in unit 16A.
This hunt is the beginning of the elk rutting season, the elk are bugling and for those of you who haven’t heard this before the experience can be as exciting as the kill. In this hunt you will be taken to camp on an atv where you will either hunt from here or be taken to spike camps depending on the elks locations. You will be camping in wall tents with wood stoves, great food, and an awesome experience of the great outdoors.
Our next available hunt is October 10-24th in unit 16.
You will drive to our base camp location. From here you will have opportunity to ride on horseback to your hunting location. In some cases we may ride to spike camps where you will have an overnight stay and hunt from these locations. This hunt is a little later rut hunt and but bugling is still good.
During both of these elk hunts you may also have an opportunity to see and kill a nice whitetail buck. If interested in whitetail, you may want to purchase a deer tag also.
ANOTHER COMBINATION HUNTING OPPORTUNITY IN IDAHO
Use your Non-Resident general season deer or elk tag on a predator: Bear, Cougar ( Mountain Lion ) or Wolf.
